“The ornament of a house is the friends who frequent it.” {Ralph Waldo Emerson) And so later, Millet and I will adorn Rose's place. That is after a sumptuous dinner at one of the authentic Inasal houses in the metro. Good food+Great Friends+Interesting Stories=Happiness!
"Will you be a godmother of our apo?" our neighbor in Malolos asks of me. Of course I said yes happily. Godmotherhood is a job I take seriously. That, and playing fairy godmother to my gay friends :)
"Can I wear black when you get married?" I asked my best friend Jho. "I look great in an LBD (little black dress), I'm telling you." "Of course you can!" she said nonchalantly. Isn't it refreshing to have a best friend who's willing to put down walls of traditions (and superstitions!) to respect whatever you like to do, or wear, in this case?
